Te Iho Tahi leverages the strengths of Te Iho Nuku to provide iwi, hapū and hapori access to diverse commercial real estate investment opportunities that otherwise may be unavailable to them or difficult to access, in a way that reflects the partnership’s core values of whakapono, waiora, rangatiratanga, tātou tātou, and tiakitanga.

Intergenerational wellbeing
Within te ao Māori, intergenerational wellbeing is grounded in whakapapa, the interrelated connections between all things within the living world. Within this world view human wellbeing is premised on the wellbeing of the taiao, so inherent in an ao Māori view are responsibilities of tiakitanga or stewardship and manaakitanga that require us to care for our environment and each other.
Te Iho Nuku recognises these interconnected relationships and that the wellbeing of society and the strength and effectiveness of our economies are embedded in the wellbeing of our taiao. Te Iho Nuku refers to our kaupapa being guided by what is good for the taiao.
Te Whakatipurawa
Our investment framework
All investment opportunities will be considered using Te Whakatipurawa, a decision-making framework applicable to Te Iho Nuku. The purpose of Te Whakatipurawa is to ensure that all investment decisions of Te Iho Nuku, and certain other agreed decisions and matters, are consistent with identified principles of te ao Māori and the values, code of conduct and objectives of Te Iho Nuku. Te Whakatipurawa will be reviewed and enhanced by the Board of Te Iho Nuku no less than annually.
